“NonExistent” is a film drawing attention to transgressive behaviour, a theme that is still very topical, and advocates constructive discussions within the vast cultural sector. A film based on a true story. But this film never existed. Because the victims never told their story. The “Genderkamer” of the “Vlaamse Ombudsdienst” offers advice to organizations and politicians and annually reports to the Flemish Parliament. Talking is paramount. To all those who feel someone has crossed the line: it’s time to speak up and contribute to tomorrow’s world. Because transgressive behaviour doesn't exist, until we talk about it.
