The Remco Reflex

Client: bpost

In Belgium, around 300 cyclists are injured each year from incidents with opening car doors. The accident involving Remco Evenepoel, who crashed the door of a bpost car, highlighted the need to address this issue. So together with bpost, we launched the “Remco Reflex,” a campaign to raise awareness among drivers about the dangers of opening car doors into the path of cyclists. The campaign encourages drivers to open the door of their car with their right hand, forcing them to check over their shoulder for oncoming cyclists. The initiative includes a free sticker featuring Remco Evenepoel to remind drivers to stay alert. This simple yet effective gesture aims to prevent accidents and improve road safety.
